So, you have made the decision to move to Portugal, that’s wonderful news!! Great choice!! However, now you need to decide where you are going to live. Portugal offers many choices, depending on the lifestyle you want to live.

We work with many people who wish to relocate to Portugal. Portugal is not a large country, however there are many variables of climate available here. Before you decide, we suggest you think about what sort of climate you want, or you can live happily in? If you don’t like rain, then don’t move to northern Portugal. If you don’t like too much heat, then most likely the Algarve might not be the place for you.

If you love beaches, then both the Algarve and the Silver coast are great areas to choose from. In the Algarve the climate is much warmer, especially in the winter. The Silver Coast has amazing beaches and of course the huge waves in Nazare for surfing and is more temperate. In Porto the weather is moderate, but a lot of rain and wind in winter.
